CLASS PART I

Session one is between 1 - 1.5hours


You’ll learn:

  • How DJ gear works

  • The basics of Rekordbox + USB exporting 

  • Track structure & phrasing

  • What makes a good mix — and how to pick the right track

  • Getting a good foundation and understanding why preperation and knowledge matters most 


By the end, you’ll already start to see the whole picture of what DJs actually do — and how to start doing it yourself.

CLASS PART  II
Session 2  (1h, 30mins)

You’ll learn:

  • Mixing technique (beatmatching, transitions, effects)

  • Cue points & looping

  • How to build a short, confident DJ set

  • Taking home a general understanding of how to play


The goal? You’ll walk away confident, with everything you need to mix properly — and the know-how to do it the right way.

Who is Teaching This?

Hi — I’m Fabio.

I’ve spent the last 10 years all over Europe, building underground events, DJing from basements to festival stages, and producing music with deep dedication.

Now based in Brooklyn, I co-manage DJ Frankie Bones and co-founded Waxed, right now operating as an online shop. I play music for over ten years now  - happy to pass on all the knowledge that I have gathered over the years.

Most classes take place Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM.

If these times don’t work for you, we can arrange an individual session that fits your schedule.
